it really depends on how your body responds to the herbs. i suggest drinking herbal teas and increasing the strength (steeping time or # of cups slowly) to see what works for you. also, many herbs should not be ingested in high doses or frequently because they strain the liver. when i feel anxious i find that chamomile or valerian is soothing, kava kava really really mellows me out and st. john's wort floors me.
