Answers:
going to the gym increases your muscle mass, so yes you do gain weight. However, if you want to lose weight from your stomach, theighs, etc, then you have to do cardio exercises, like running, biking, walking, aerobics tuff like that. IT's hard to do these types of exercise if you have weak muscles!

Its necessary to increase muscle mass a little get rid of lots of fatty mass.

Hope this answer helps.

If you exercise at the gym or at home, you will be healthier and look better. If you are only a little overweight, you may become heavier because muscle is heavier than fat. However, you will look better because you won't be fat. If you have a lot of weight to loose, you will definitely be lighter if you get in shape.

As a woman, you do not have to be concerned that a lot of exercise will make you into a hulk like Schwarzenegger. You don't have the right hormones to make those big muscles. If you work with weights, you will just become a buff foxy chic.

To loose weight: eat a balanced diet, eat less, exercise more.
To keep the weight off, you should loose about 1 pound per week.

If you use weights to tone your muscle, you'll actually increase your weight because muscle weighs more than fat.

Combine light cardio stuff like jogging or dance classes or brisk walking with a varied weight routine that focuses on those areas of the body that women tend to get 'saggy' in - the triceps under the arms, the back of the hamstrings (thighs) and the lower abs.

Go to Womens Health sites on the net for some great exercise tips.

Did you also know that 90% of people do not take in the minimum daily recommended amount of water. 2 litres in a minimum if you exercise as well.

Take it easy & have a great day!

It depends what you are doing in the gym - if all you are doing is pumping iron then may be. You do need a certain amount of lean muscle to burn calories - in general more lean muscle being built and used, more calories are burnt.

If you want to loose weight then the principle is quite simple (but more difficult in reality). You must use more calories then you are eating.

Do cardio exercise but also change your eating habits - more fruit and veg, less fizzy drinks and processed (junk) food.

You make real changes though otherwise when you stop going to the gym or start eating badly again the weight will just go back on.

nah.u have to kno that ur body is adaptable so it will get use to the new style that u r trying to fallow quickly..u might put on wight coz coz u r not burning any calories; at that moment u have to tack care what r u eating more i hope this will help.
