What kind of Perfume to wear when you go to work?!

Question:
I want to buy myself a bottle of perfume as a gift for my first job after graduation. The ones I am using right now are Babydoll by Anna Sui(which smells too girly) and Givenchy intense ultramarine(which is too romantic). It must be suitable to wear during work. Thank you!!
Answers:
Gucci 2. It's not as strong as the other Gucci scents (Envy, Envy Me, etc.). It's very light and feminine, v. appropriate for day wear.

Other Answers:
CK One

Where I work the girls there wear the girly sprays but they only spray it once or twice. So its not too strong or too weak.

Get samples from a dept store and try them. They smell
different on everyone. I wear Obsession my Calvin Klein,
because it's about the only one I can wear without smelling
like a wet dog. Wear the samples for a few hours at least.
And, rule of thumb, your scent should arrive with you, and
not linger more that 3-5 seconds after you leave. So don't
wear too much, and don't wear too little! Good luck on your
job!

I use Rockin Rio by Escada it smells flirty and professional at the same time. got a super deal on it on ebay.. it retails for 80.00

I would say something very very subtle. My mother is very allergic to perfumes and coughs horribly if someone wears anything strong. It drives me nuts because if i come over with perfume on she gets sick, so I never wear perfume at work, only when going out. So for others keep it light. But i go to department stores and try until i find what i like. I love Ralph Lauren Romance, and Calvin Klien Euphoria.

this is really funny because i wear all black and im considered a goth.but no body really knows that i were Paris Hilton perfume:] it smells sooo good!!

Preferably none. Not only do many people have allergies, but if all the women wore perfume to work, all the scents mixed together could give people headaches.

I'm not trying to insult you at all by suggesting that you're dumping it on, but even a tiny bit can be overwhelming and cause problems.

I'd sincerely suggest that you save the perfume until evening and on weekends. Sensitive co-workers will be very appreciative that you are so thoughtful of them.

Any of the scents from Philosophy. I reccomend Pure Grace for work, but any of them are appropriate because they are not overwhelming, but pleasant. Oh, and still noticable. Also, I like anything by Kenzo. They are usually sophisticated and clean smelling. Also, I have been told that Marc Jacobs Cotton is great for work because you smell good, but it doesn't smell like perfume.

Lots of testing

j'adore

Tommy True Star, that stuff REALLY smells great.

Sicily, love this perfume!

Leahs713 and Worldtraveller are right. I am one of those people who happen to be very sensitive to smells. I get nauseous and I get a headache. Even some make up has too much fragrance for some people. Please, save the perfume for special occasions.
