Is all soap Anti-bacterial?!

Question:
If not, why do some say specifically that they are, and others do not? For instance, Ivory is supposed to be the most pure, but is it anti-bacterial or does is just get the dirt off?
Answers:
No. They only are if they say so.

But don't feel the need to use them they also kill the "good" bacteria that we want to keep around, like the ones that fight off infection.

Other Answers:
all soap is not anti bacterial.. soap just helps get dirt off.. if it has anti bacterial products in it.. then that is extra

all soaps are! but there are some soaps that have this small potency of antibacterial agent, those are the cheap ones.

try this test. dab a soap on your eye and if it's painful, then the soap is guaranteed to be antibacterial.

Bacteria, dirt what's the difference when you are washing your hands? I once did a study in microbiology where we used antibacterial soap and regular soap to see what killed what. Regular soap did just as well as the antibacterial stuff in eliminating germs. Net, net it is mostly a marketing technique that based on the answers here, seems to be working.

Surgical scrub on the other hand really is unique stuff.

not at all .all soap are' nt anti bacterial.the really cause to be used as some or more chemiclas.
