Use the dumbbells as if you are doing jumping jacks. Lift them from you side and over your head. Make sure your arms stay straight. I usually do as many as I can in a minute every night or day. You may want to start light like 3 or 5 pound dumbbells. You will feel the stiffness in your arms, shoulders and chest. Those are Muscles! also push-ups are the easiest way to get buff on the upper body. You should do as many as you can in a minute everyday or night which ever works for you. As you do this, you will notice you can do less and less everyday. After about 2 weeks of this, take a week off and start again. You'll notice that you can do more in a minute than you were doing when you started. I promise you will notice a big difference in you upper body tone within a week of these exercises Limiting repetitions to a minute ensures that you want over do it. If your muscles get too sore, you want be able to get anything accomplished. So do as many as you can in a minute and stop. Don't push it. It also helps with flexibility.Health Question & Answer
