i have 20 pound weights and i cant go a day without lifting them because im use to having weight traing and cardio in my everyday workout plan. i notice on the biggest loser they sweat more like that and burn ots of calories but a lot of people say i should let my muscles rest.Health Question & Answer

Muscles need 24 to 48 hours of rest after strenuous workouts. In that resting period, they heal and become more developed to reach the goal we strive for. You are only harming yourself if you lift daily.

You need to let your muscles rest and regenerate, otherwise you are just wasting your energy. Give it a day or two and increase the weight as it becomes easy to lift.
