Does having kidney stones cause epididymitis in men?!
Question: Does having kidney stones cause epididymitis in men.?
Answers:
I don't think so, they're different tubes. A kidney stone can cause urine to back up in the kidneys, causing swelling and irritation, but the epididymis is in a different branch, and no pressure would build up there. When I had kidney stones they warned me about the kidney irritation, but didn't say anything about the epididymis.Health Question & Answer
Seriously not to my knowledge, I have had several kidney stones in the past with the only side effect having been tenderness and a stinging sensation with urination or orgasm, lasting only a few days after the stones have passed. But since I myself haven't had the problem in question, it would probably be better brought to the attention of a urologist. Health Question & Answer
No, kidney stones are formed in the kidneys. Epididymitis is an inflammation of the testicle. Health Question & Answer
