How to gain upper body muscle and lose thigh fat?!

Question: How to gain upper body muscle and lose thigh fat.?
...at the same time!

Here's the situation. I'm male/19 & I want to have toned legs and a semi-toned muscular upper body. Right not, my upper body is skinny toned but I need to lift more to put some more muscles on it. My lower body is flabby and my calves and thighs have an above average amount of fat in them. I want to lose this fat in my lower body but also do not want to sacrifice losing any lean meat/ muscle in the upper body. I understand there isn't spot reduction but the thighs are becoming a problem!

I eat quite healthy which includes minimum calories, a low to no fat diet, minimal cardio 30 min jog/walk 2-3 times per weak. I also lift different muscle groups everyday and sometime eat lots.

HOW do I achieve my goals faster given the current conditions.?
Any tips would be appreciated. 10 points to the best.Health Question & Answer

I've gotten great results so far by doing a few things. I do pull ups (3 sets of as many as I can do) and barbell rows for back which helps give the desired v-shape upper body. also, Bench press helps a lot for chest, my pecs are coming out much more then they did before. For legs, I recommend squats, leg extensions, and calve raises. This should help your upper body and legs.
In regards to cardio, I'd say run, jog, or jump rope for 30 min 3 times a week (on days you don't workout) to get rid of the leg fat. Contrary to popular belief, you wont lose any muscle from cardio, it will just get rid of fat and help you get bigger. Cardio is more important then most people think.

Aside from that, be patient, it sounds like your doing really good and you should be able to reach your goal.Good luck!Health Question & Answer
