best to sleep at night and not daytime?


Question:
Is it true that our bodies biologically work in coordinance with the suns movement across the sky?
Why did somebody tell me that it is not good for your brain to sleep during the day and stay up all night?

Answer:
the human body is not nocturnal by design so i say sleep at night
There is recent research that if you sleep in a lighted room or in daylight, your body produces much less melatonin. This decreases your level of protection from skin cancer, and potentially other cancers.

Also, there have been experiments done in which people have been "tricked" into adapting to other sleep cycles than 24 hours, in the absense of external cues.
