Not unless you were exposed to someone in the last few days. Most viruses have a 3-5 day incubation period in your body(before symptoms appear) after you are exposed. So even going to someone elses house where you know someone would be sick, and even if you climbed all over them, you wouldnt get sick yourself for a few days.

Well, scream at the top of your lungs for a couple hours! That will make your throat hurt. Another idea, if you don't mind breathing secondhand smoke, is be in a room for several hours where a lot of people are smoking. That always makes my throat hurt the next day!
