Cosmetic Surgery, been thinking about having implants!?

Question:
Im nearly 40 now and have always been unhappy about my boobs.
Never had surgery before and have been taking tablets for high blood pressure since my daughter was born 15 months ago.
I have three children now, not planning on anymore.
Can you have the op when yr taking high blood pressure tabs? Has anyone had it done, what was it like, how long do they last, what is your opinion about cosmetic surgery.

Answer:
It's a great boost to your self esteem, but be aware of the downfalls. Mine started to leak silcone after about 7 years when I was in my late thirties. Then I traded for saline and they did not feel as real. Those had a rupture too after only two years. The surgery was painful afterwards and I had the saline one's removed. My breasts still have pain 4 years after the last surgery.

On the other hand, I'd probably suffer all over again to have them again because men just fall all over themselves when they see those babies coming. LOL That was really fun to see.
when having an op for boobs, you cant really have high blood pressure.
I have high blood pressure and am on full beta blockers for it, but I have already had an op to get sterilised and that went well.

I am now waiting for an abdominal (muscle reconstruction and removal off major excess skin) also breast reduction and augmentation (due to abnormal growth).

My opinion about cosmetic surgery is simple if you need it and know the risks and surgery is the only option then go for it.

If it's not causing any physical problems and it's only mental issues then think very carefully about it and research your surgeon and be aware of all the risks involved as yes things can go wrong. Good luck.
Hi!

There are many cosmetic plastic surgery surgeons who are qualified and have openings available for new patients, but there are also unlicensed practioners who will try to perform these surgeries and usually end up causing discomfort and other problems that cannot be corrected. When looking for a cosmetic plastic surgery surgeon, one should be cautious and ask many questions before agreeing to go ahead with the surgery. Even if the surgeon is licensed, one may not feel comfortable with the surgeon. Use this instinct to find the right surgeon.

The first question patients should ask is where the surgeon went to school and who they are licensed by. Each state has different regulations that should be followed at all times. The next question to ask the surgeon before deciding on cosmetic plastic surgery is how much experience they have and how many times they have performed different procedures. Most surgeons have undergone extensive training and have also performed many surgeries before. They should also be able to give references of former patients that can vouch for their work.
