Can very small pieces of glass still harm you?

Question: I think I may have chipped something in my room that was made of glass and I'm not sure where it flew. I've pretty much cleaned up, but I'm still concerned that there may be small fragments left. Can really tiny or comparably small pieces still be harmful?

Answer:
A vaccum works really well for picking them up as long as it has some decent power behind it and good suction. If there still was some? I wouldn't think it could do much damage but it is possible it could cut you.

Yes even a sliver can become imbedded in your foot if you step on it. If you have carpet in that room vacumm and re-vacuum and then go over the floor once more. If you don't have carpet in that room you need to wash the flood well.

Generally, really tiny pieces of glass wont cut you if you tread on them although it might stick in like a wood siiver...but it depends on how they contact against your skin. Just vacuum up as best as you can and you should be fine...if you havent cut yourself after a week then dont worry about it.
