IT WONT STOP WATERINGG im going out for the day and dont want to wear my glasses what do i do ? do i take out my contact and just put it in later orr ?? becuase that would be bad and .. arrghh im soo annoyed please help!!

Answer:
Wash your hands with really good strong soap (dishsoap or clarifying shampoo for example) and then get out the contact and 1) give it a good rinse with solution, 2)put it in the palm of your hand add solution to it and gently rub it in your palm with one finger to remove debris, 3) rinse it off again with solution. Then put the contact in. Blink your eye and see if the pain stops after 2 minutes (time this when you're in pain it's hard to think straight!) If it still is unbearable take it out and put your glasses on. If it seems okay for now bring your glasses and contact case full of fresh solution with you on your outing in case it gives you trouble again.

If it continues to hurt you may have an invisible tear called a mouse tear and just need to replace the contact completely.
flip the contact, it is probably inside out. or just switch them out
take it out and clean it in your hand gently then make sure it is not inside out
^ hahahaha
That happened to me two months ago. I had actually cut my eyeball with the soft contact. Had to go to the eye doctor every day for a week because of an infection. She gave me two different eye drop medicines. I lost the sight in the eye for 3 days, but then it came back when the infection started getting better. Couldn't wear my contact in that eye for 3 weeks. I did fine with only one contact in, but that doesn't mean you will.... be careful.
Do you have an eyelash in your eye? Roll it around, and look in a mirror. Pull at your eyelashes to make sure none are loose and getting caught, and wash your eye out as well with eye drops/lens drops. Also, make sure you don't have a tear in the corner of your lens or anything. Make sure it's not folded as well.
You may have an eye infection. My older sister had this a lot. It's caused by not cleaning the lenses properly - they need to be rigorously cleaned every time. Don't put your contacts in, and go to your GP or optician. it may also be worth thinking about daily lenses - you don't have to clean them ever.
ok I know you only have a half hour but you should wash off your eye makeup and rinse out your eye real fast...put in your contacts again and then if you MUST wear makeup put it on after your contact is in.

If that doesn't work, check your contact and see if there is a tear or rip in it. If the contact is fine then there might be something wrong with your eye and you should leave your contacts out for a while!!
Do you have a fresh lens you could try? The offending lens may have some damage that you can't readily see. You might also try an OTC eye drop in the burning eye, but after you use the eye drops, wait to put your contact in until the last minute.
Sometimes that just happens. How long were the contacts sitting in the solution before you put them on? When you say "wash," you mean with saline right? Haha, I'm hoping your noting using soap and water.

Do you have rewetting solution? That might help, but you'd have to have the contacts in for that.

How long do you usually wear your contacts for?

Do you have pink eye? OR, your eye might just be very dry.
If it burns don't wear it. U can either only wear one contact,(I have done that before) or go put on the glasses. The choice is yours.
Well it might be the fact that you you put the contact in and it is flipped reverse. This being that you wear soft contacts. Take it out of your eye. Clean it again with contact solution, and rinse out your eye. Leave it out for about 5 minutes until your eye clears a bit. Take your contact and you will notice that you can push the contact in both directions. One side is the right side, and is evident by its shape, closely resembling your cornea, and the other side will be more 'dished' out. Find the appropriate side and then put it back in your eye.

The first few weeks with new contacts is difficult. It will take a while before it feels natural for you. If anything, take your contact cleaning kit with you if you have any problems later in the day!

good luck!
You might have scratched your eye taking out/putting in your contact. Another possibility is that it's torn or irregular. Take it out and examine it closely, under magnification if you need it, and make sure it looks completely smooth and free of flaws and tears. If it looks fine, wait for your eye to stop watering and clean your contact according to the directions on the solution bottle. You shouldn't be leaving your contacts in longer than 12 hours at a time unless they're made to be long-wear contacts because you can give yourself an infection in your eye. This might also be what's going on. If I were you, I'd give it one more try, and if nothing went better, I'd just wear my glasses and get rid of the contacts for a fresh pair and try again tomorrow.
sounds like you got something on your contact like soap or the cleaner. I would take the contact out wash it really good with solution and rinse your eye out with saline or multipurpose solution.
sounds like you tore it some where. did u mean u've had the same pair for 5 years? if your vision isn't too bad in the left eye try just sporting one contact lens. i've done that before (desperate times call for desperate measures)
